Please read and familiarise yourself with our terms and conditions before booking or purchasing items to avoid confusion and delays.
Booking Your Shoot - To book a shoot with us we require the booking fee upfront to secure your booking day and time. This can be done either by paying on our website page via the VOUCHERS button, popping in to the studio to see us (please ring via to find out when we are in the studio) or by leaving your money with Chamber Pet Supplies.
Cancellation Policy - Cancelation of any shoot must be made 48 hours prior to your shoot. Failure to do this will result in you being charged the full amount of your voucher/deposit paid and will have to repay for another shoot/voucher in the future.
If you notify us with more than 48 hours notice we will happily reschedule your shoot free of charge and book an alternative date.
Orders - Please allow 1-3 weeks to get your order. We pride ourselves upon finishing any product to perfection we therefore need to allow time for varnishing of canvases and waiting on your frame to be made to order. We always want to aim to get all of our products out within 7-10 days. We will contact you as soon as your order is complete and will arrange time for collection.
Money taken from customers as deposit will go towards any product ordered. If a customer decides they no longer want the product without receiving anything they are entitled to have their money back, Longer than 28 days the money cannot be returned but will be exchanged for products in the studio to the equivalent.
Returns - We make sure that all customers see their orders before they leave the studio to make sure they are happy and that there are no imperfections. If you are unhappy with the product you must say then when in the studio. Therefore our products once out of the studio are non-returnable. If there are any problems at a later date it is up to the photographer to decide whether it is a fault of the product or a customers mistake before renewing.
Prints, Canvases, Frames, Floating Frames and Albums are thoroughly checked before being handed to the customer. If there is a fault with the product we will need the old product back and will replace it with a new product if its a mistake from the photographer.
Digital packages such as USB sticks and photos sent via email are non refundable due to the photographer not knowing if you have already downloaded or copied the images elsewhere. If a USB Stick is faulty we will automatically swap it for a new one.
Photos viewing - Please allow up to 6 weeks to get your photos from your wedding day. We will never promise to get the photos done any earlier because the time scale of editing cannot be predicted. If photos are needed for a certain date please make sure this is in writing and signed by the photographer(s) to agree. At your viewing stage you will get your USB with all finished photos on. If your package consists of an album you will also see the first stage of production.
Albums - If your album is NOT in your package at the viewing stage we will then discuss additional album options. Because of prioritising albums already paid for please allow a further 3 weeks of production of album, then a further viewing appointment. Finally allow no more than 6 weeks to get your finished album(s). Before Production of any album a contract must be signed to agree that all participants are happy to go ahead with printing. Please note albums are non- returnable.
Paperwork - Please make sure all paperwork given by Shipley Photographic is properly filled out so you receive all photos you wanted on your wedding day. We also need as much information as possible of times and whereabouts of your wedding day. We need to be prompt and punctual on your day and can only do that if we have all information. We MUST know about any unusual events that need to be photographed i.e owls, butterflies, choreography as preparation is an necessity.
Wedding Breakfast and Buffet - We prefer to leave you and your guests to enjoy your wedding breakfast in peace without us around, so don't worry about paying for us to have a wedding breakfast we will already be prepared for lunch and dinner.
Photo Booth - If your package has a photo booth included please be aware this is based on whether the venue is suitable for the photo booth. If we cannot fit the photo booth in your chosen venue we will not be putting it up. Be aware the photo booth is included with no extra charge it is only based upon space and whether it is necessary. This will be discussed before wedding. If the photo booth has been paid for as an extra and we then find out the venue is inappropiate (low ceilings) you will be refunded the full amount as this cannot be helped.
Booking Fee and Cancelation/ Change of venue or date - Shipley Photographic will only need 10% of the package discussed to secure a wedding date. This deposit is non-returnable. If a client wishes to pay more then 10% on the day of securing the wedding date this is also non-returnable. Any first payment becomes a deposit. The package written on the contract is final, any change to the package will occur £50.00 change charge to amend any information stated on the contract or written forms. If there is a change to the wedding date there will be no additional charge but availability cannot be guaranteed. If we are fully booked and cannot change dates 50% of the payment already given will be returned to the clients. Any changes made to the booked day stated must be made in written form to Shipley Photographic at least 2 months before.
There is a cancelation fee of £50.00 if cancelled 6months or earlier before date and 50% of payment is returned. If cancelled later, there is a £100 charge and payment already received is non-returnable.
Full payment must be received at least 7 days before the booked date. If payment is not received Shipley Photographic has the right to cancel the booking and any payment will not be refunded. A charge of £100 can be billed to the clients stated for loss of work and payment.
Under special circumstances for cancelation, which are fatalities of either clients or severe illness, 100% of payment received will be returned.
