How to get a windy wedding photo

On Saturday we was at Park Hill golf and country club in Loughborough for James and Sarah's wedding.

Here we will explain one of the shots we captured. It was a very windy day and we wanted to use that to our advantage. So after borrowing some golf buggies to have a drive around the golf course and find places to shoot just the couple on their own with out all the guests in the background we decided on this spot.
It is not the most amazing spot in the world but it did give us a little bit of cover out of the wind with the shelter provided from the trees.
We set about going for a photo with Sarah's vail in.
we set up two off camera speed lights to the left and right of the photographer (in this case John). The reason for this was to get a even light coverage of both the bride and groom as the sun light was coming from the right of the photo which would have left the brides face in a shadow.
Amanda is holding the brides vail to stop it blowing around to much and giving that effect its blowing naturally in the wind whilst waving it up and down.
We took a few shots and realised that we had what we needed and then went on to capture more photos as time was limited.
Equipment used.

Canon 6d mark ii
Full Frame Sensor 26.2 MP
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM

Focal Length: 75mm
Two Nissin Di700a Speed Lights
Nissin Air 1 Wireless transmitter
Two 24" x 24" Bowens soft boxes
Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe Lightroom CC for editing.
